Embrionix is the leading developer of SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) modules for use by video equipment manufacturers. We provide powerful yet cost effective interfaces for coax, fiber optic, HDMI, MADI, and IP (SMPTE ST2022-6 and ST2110) solutions, supporting all formats from composite video up to UHD.
Our SFP’s are sold exclusively to OEM partners, who can offer multi-format solutions to their customers without having to design every interface option into their products individually.
The Embrionix EB82SOC1 (System-on-Chip) is a compact processing platform that can be integrated into hardware designs to provide advanced processing capabilities such as multi-channel SDI to ST2110 encapsulation and de-encapsulation with full ST2022-7 redundancy
New Software Release
We are excited to announce the new version 4.00 Gateway Application for the EB82SOC1. The ST2110-SDI UHD Gateway APP is used to encapsulate or de-encapsulate SDI from/to IP ST2110 as individual video, audio and ancillary data streams on the EB82SOC1 System-on-Chip platform.
With the V4.00 application, we add to the already vast product feature set by providing advanced capabilities such as:
- Audio delay compensation
- Internal loopback capabilities
- Flexible encapsulator audio mapping
- Reed Solomon FEC support

IP products Lineup comparison
Video equipment manufacturers that want to add ST2110 or ST2202-6 connectivity to their products can count on the EB22 and EB82 platforms. On the one hand, the hot-pluggable EB22LC module can easily be added to any system with an available SFP cage. On the other hand, with its larger processing capacities, the EB82 platform can be hosted inside the OEM chassis and is ideally suited for UHD applications.
