Laval, Quebec ( September 8, 2013) — Embrionix, manufacturer of the advanced emSFP, has introduced a new series of audio emSFP modules for AES and MADI signal types. These modules are designed to transmit and receive MADI or AES signals, up to 125 Mbps, over 75Ω coaxial cables via HD-BNC or DIN type connectors.
“Discreet AES audio requirements are a common place in our industry, with MADI audio applications also gaining wide popularity. Cable driver amplitude and edge rates are automatically configured in order to achieve compliance to AES and MADI signal requirements. Both series of modules are available with HDBNC or DIN type connectors.
The AES and MADI emSFP is available in dual transmitter, dual receiver, and transceiver configurations, in both MSA and non-MSA pinouts.
