Embrionix will demonstrate AIMS TR-03 AMWA (NMOS) emSFP (SFP+) in action at NAB2016 - 2016-04-08

Laval, Canada (April 8th, 2016) — Embrionix, the worldwide leader in advanced SFP and emSFP development, will demonstrate the integration of TR-03 and AMWA (auto-discovery) emSFP in a full IP environment at NAB2016. The demonstration will be presented at NAB2016 in combination with SMPTE 2022-6 encapsulator, decapsulator. The emSFP AIMS – AMWA is directly plugged into a IP switches and a AIMS- AMWA TR-03 decapsulator SFP plugged in a second switch. Embrionix new emONE platform is now capable to integrate real time 2022-5, -6, -7, ASPEN, AIMS, TR-03 (ST-2110), AMWA processing functionalities in the well-known emSFP / emSFP+ products.

The Embrionix AIMS – AMWA TR-03 (ST-2110) gateway is the world’s smallest gateway available in the market; it can be integrated in standard SDI product to bridge the gap to IP or directly in IP switches enabling the use of out-of-the-box COTS switches.

The AIMS TR-03 (ST-2110) + AMWA (NMOS) encapsulator and decapsulator support follows closely with the world first emSFP gateway announcement. Both of these emSFP solutions are developed using the emONE platform. Embrionix has focused its expertise, and development to release the industries smallest processing engines, by integrating directly into the SFP at the edge.
