This product series consists of SDI-to-IP (ST2022-1/2, ST2022-6/7, and ST2110) Gateway converters allowing legacy SDI equipment to be interconnected to an IP network. The solution SDI IP is designed around an inputs/outputs interchangeable SFP (SDI IP) form factor. Installed inside an SFP cage hosted by other equipment manufacturers, the modules can be interchanged to provide a different mix of input and output connectivity. The modules can be inserted directly inside 10G SFP/SFP+ cage with direct interface to 1GE, 10GE, 25GE and 100GE network. This purely simple solution drastically simplifies gradual integration of IP and SDI equipment.

SFP BASED IP GATEWAYS (emSFP)

The SDI to IP emSFP-Gateway family provides multiple practical interfaces to bridge SDI signals into IP. The modules are based on a small form factor (SFP+) that can either be installed inside a standard 10GE IP switch or inside third party equipment with SFP cages. The emSFP Software Defined SFP can be configured to run different encapsulation process such as ST2022-1/2, ST2022-6/7 and ST2110. In the ordering process, you can choose the platform (emSFP hardware) and then pick different software options for this platform.

STANDALONE IP GATEWAYS and QUAD SPLIT (emVIEW & emQUAD)

The emVIEW product family are standalone De-encapsulators that can be installed in the back of your monitor due to their miniature frame form factor. The product can receive Video IP flows and control packets from a single fiber optical link or dual optical links fiber in a redundant system. This solves long distance interconnection to the display using a minimum set of cables and equipment. The emQUAD is a brand new quad split processor family based in the same miniature frame. This is another clever solution to monitor up to 4 IP signals on a single monitor. Each emVIEW, emQUAD, emFUSION and emEXTEND solution is based on the same frame form factor. The frame can be powered by redundant individual power supplies, or they can be installed in a 2R rackmount bracket accommodating 18 frames and supplying redundant power.

The emFUSION is available with different input or output format (COAX, HDMI, FIBER) and they are software updatable to run various encapsulation formats such as ST2110, ST2022-6/7 or ST2022-1/2.
